Weekly Preschool Updates...

Week of March 22nd- March 25th:

This week, we will finish up the alphabet with the letter Z!! How exciting for the preschoolers! This will include the recognition and formation, as well as the sound and what words begin with it. We will also begin to review letters we have already covered.

I include number activities each day through songs, stories, and hands on activities. We focus on numbers 1-10. I also have been incorporating patterns (AB) and shapes into daily conversations and activities. I will begin pulling them individually to practice their name writing as well.

We will also begin our unit on Spring! We have waited SO long for Spring. This unit will include fun hands on activities surrounding soring, baby animals, and Easter!

Hello! My name is Becky and I am the preschool teacher, as well the special educator for grades PK-2nd. Originally from MD, my husband, 4 children, and I moved to this area 10 years ago. After settling in, I began my college journey at Johnson State College and then Granite State College, to finally receive my degree in Special Education. This is my 4th year teaching preschool and special education at CAES, and I absolutely love my job! My family and I love everything this area has to offer. We enjoy going to the lakes and beaches, hiking, and slowly renovating our home. We also love spending time with our extended family, who have also moved to the area.
