BIO

I was born in Germany because my father was military. After I was born my father got  transferred  to Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX.  I lived in Texas for most of my life. In 2018 we moved from El Paso to the great North woods. When researching the area I was surprised that the average temperature was 70 degrees. This was definitely a shock to me. Coming from Texas our winters consist of the occasional snow dusting not feet of snow. In the summer the average temperature is 100 degrees. The North has grown on me. I love the summer but don't think I will ever love the winters. They are beautiful but this Texan loves the heat. Prior to moving here I taught at a Charter school grades 7-12 that stemmed around low income students most with behavioral issues. I taught 7-9 grade English, NM history, Reading Intervention, Creative Writing and Home Economics. I also co-taught journalism.
